FIRST LADY TISA HILL

Tisa Tamara Atchison Hill was born on June 6, 1970, to Reginald Atchison and the late Phyllis Cummings. She was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, where she accepted Christ and was baptized June, 1976. She graduated from Phineas Banning High School in 1988. She later received her Bachelor's of Arts Degree in Religious Studies from California State University, Northridge in 2000. She is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Religious Counseling.

Tisa worked for 18 years as a legal secretary in the Law Offices of Linda Mae Stone and the Law Offices of Maurice H. Katz. She recently started her own lifestyle recovery counseling program called "Transitions."

Tisa has received many honors and awards including being asked to participate in the First Ladies Summit, a group of pastor's wives who meet in Washington, D.C. annually. In 2006, she had the privilege of meeting and having lunch with President George W. Bush and First Lady Laura Bush.

Tisa has been married to Pastor Edward V. Hill II for 21 years and they have an 18 year old son, Edward III, who is a freshman at California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks, CA.

Tisa believes that her most important role besides being a wife and mother is a First Lady. She is the First Lady of the Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church of Los Angeles, and she served for 15 years as the First Lady of the Calvary Temple Pentecostal Holiness Church of North Hollywood. She is very involved in serving as Women's Ministry Director and Advisor, Young People's Advisor, School of Ministry Teacher and Administrator, a Lifestyle Recovery Counselor and a directress in Music Ministry. In March, 2008, she was ordained as a Minister of the International Pentecostal Holiness Church. In 2013, Tisa looks forward to the new beginnings in ministry ahead of her as the First Lady of the Spirit of Zion Fellowship Church in the San Fernando Valley.

Tisa's God-given gift of helps can always be seen in her ministry to young ladies and women. She has coordinated debutantes, woman's retreats and conferences, and spoken to young ladies about self-esteem and etiquette in juvenile detention centers.

While being a wife, mother, counselor and teacher, Tisa is determined to fulfill her calling of meeting the needs of hurting people. She is especially determined to touch the lives of every young lady and woman that she meets.

She is well admired for her style, appropriateness and sweet anointing.
